Groves Memorial Community Hospital

2016-2017

The Groves Memorial Hospital Competition was an Infrastructure Ontario-led competition to design the new Groves Memorial Community Hospital (GMCH) in Fergus, Ontario. The rural full-service hospital is to replace the current GMCH facility and will provide acute care, ambulatory care, rehabilitation, birthing suites and surgical services to the residents of Wellington County.

Diamond Schmitt Architects led a multidisciplinary team to create a 147,000 square foot design for Bondfield’s Design-Build-Finance proposal.
